Orthopaedic Bracing
Valley Sport Medicine offers evidence-based knee bracing to reduce pain, improve function, and support return to activity.
Bracing may be helpful for knee osteoarthritis, patellofemoral pain, meniscus or ligament injuries, instability, swelling, difficulty with stairs, return-to-sport support, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Bracing assessments and education are provided at no charge, with no obligation to purchase a brace, and no referral is required. Assessments are offered by Gabrielle Thomas, a kinesiologist and orthopaedic bracing specialist.
Our process includes a focused assessment to determine whether bracing is appropriate, on-site measurement and fitting (custom or off-the-shelf), education on use and care, and follow-up support as needed. Many braces are eligible for VAC, WCB, and private insurance coverage, and we assist with quotes, receipts, and required documentation for reimbursement.
