Rapid knee clinic

Targeted, Timely Care for Specific Knee Conditions

The Rapid Knee Clinic at Valley Sport Medicine is designed to provide early assessment and decision-making for knee conditions that benefit from timely management.

The goal of this clinic is to offer same-week or next-week appointments whenever possible for appropriate cases.

Patients may self-refer without a referral from another healthcare provider.

Who the Rapid Knee Clinic Is For

The Rapid Knee Clinic may be appropriate if you have:

  • An acute knee injury within the past 4 weeks, such as a twisting injury, swelling, instability, or mechanical symptoms

  • Knee osteoarthritis pain and are specifically interested in injection-based treatment, including cortisone, hyaluronic acid (HA), or PRP

Who the Rapid Knee Clinic Is Not For

This clinic is not designed for:

  • Chronic or long-standing knee pain without a clear injury or treatment goal

  • Vague or poorly localized knee symptoms

  • Knee osteoarthritis when injection-based treatment is not of interest

Patients who fall outside the scope of the Rapid Knee Clinic may be redirected and advised to see their primary care provider or referred to the general sport medicine clinic if appropriate.
